Lawrie Augustine, Chris Augustine, Amanda Augustine & Dante Augustine-Dold
Lawrie, Chris, Amanda, Mark & Dante had a great time at Chilverton Cottages & Fine Dining. What treat for Chris and Lawrie when Amanda, Mark & Dante bought them along to the paradise they had found, how spoilt are they.
Sitting by the river watching for platypus, dining in the pet friendly restaurant and bbqing beside the rive. How do you get a better escape from the real world. That hill is a killer though. Lucky we put a road in, too hard getting that blasted esky up and down, down not so bad as up.
It was great to have you all and glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay so much you have recommended the property to your friends that have booked already. A thank you will head your way eventually. Takes me a while sorry.

Well we are starting to get busy now and so are looking for helpers that we can also help. We wish to find holiday makers from overseas and from aussie to come and work for 4-5hrs a day for their food and accommodation. We are looking for the helper/s to stay for 2-3 weeks at the least but longer stays are available for the right applicants. Would suit one single person or one couple as the accommodation is twin share. If you may be interested click on the link and it will take you to our add on the helpx page. What a great website. If you are thinking of working your way around the country make sure you give this web page a good look. https://www.helpx.net/host.asp?hostid=8538 Once you have had a look if you are interested contact info@chilvertoncottages.com.au

Nicolas Mosimann & Annkathrin Dittman
While working in Sydney from Switzerland Nicolas and Annkathrine decided to see the sights of Australia before their time was up.
Choosing to self drive to the Atherton Tablelands they took in the local attractions and then checked into this boutique style accommodation.
Nicolas found this beautiful property on the internet and as soon as they drove up the drive- way, they both knew he had hit the jackpot with planning this one. A romantic, restful dinner in the restaurant was just a great way to finish this day. Wishing them both luck in their future endeavours we hope to see them again in the future.

Howard Hardwick and Fiona Hyslop
A break from it all to trip about the Tablelands and visit some of the local attractions was just what Howard and Fiona needed.
Relaxing in their cottage on the banks of the river with the log fire keeping it cosy and listening to their favourite music while sipping on a beverage could not have made for a better weekend.
Sharing a game of pool and some drinks in the Chilverton Bar & Games room with some of the other guests was a great way to spend Saturday night. Enjoying breakfast with the birds was an added attraction that make for a nice way to finish their stay. We look forward to seeing you both again soon. Sorry about not seeing the platypus maybe next time.

NIgel Chamier and Kate Chamier
Nigel and Kate got away for a break from the hectic city of Brisbane. Heading to the Atherton Tablelands they booked into a cottage on the banks of the Millstream River and settled in for a couple of days.
Opting to dine in the restaurant each evening of their stay and having breakfast while watching the wildlife through the restaurant windows each morning made for a total rest and relaxation couple of days before heading off to Undarra Lava Tubes for a quick tour.
Off to Townsville and then home again, it is all over so quickly when you go for a holiday.

Mark Dold, Amanda Augustine and Dante
Taking the chance to get away from Townsville for the weekend. Mark, Amanda and Dante checked into the river side rosella cottage at Chilverton Cottages & Fine Dining. Being return guests they knew exactly what they were doing and how beautiful this property is and so bought along Lawrie and Chris to show off to them the wonderful pet friendly couples retreat they had found.
Day tripping the area for a couple of hours each day and then returning in the afternoon to relax and unwind was a great way to spend a week end. We look forward to seeing them again in the future.

Jack, Reika & Brady Jago
Jack and Reika came back for another visit. This time bringing along with them the proof of their last romantic getaway.
The new addition to their family Brady. What a cute little thing she is too.
With so much energy she certainly keeps her mum and dad on the go. Also keeping grandma and grand dad busy and on their toes as well.
We look forward to seeing them all again when they have time to plan another quick getaway to the tablelands .

Joe Busa, Francess Busa & Chloe Busa
Escaping the crazy work schedule that they have Joe, Francess and Chloe ran away to the Atherton Tablelands for some very well earned rest and relaxation.
Chosing to dine in the restaurant they opted for the puppy dining so that little princess Chloe could join them each night for dinner. Breakfast was eaten with Chloe and the wild birds that adorn the property especially for breakfast and afternoon tea.
A great break was had and it is always dissappointing when our guests have to leave for us and them. The thing that gets in the way of our fun is work but then again usually the thing that gets in our way of work is fun. Go figure it can be a fun time no matter what.

Lynette Broughton & Duke Broughton
Lynette and Duke got away with partner (for Lynette) and sort of boss (for Duke) John for a quick one night of r n r at this fabulous couples retreat where you can bring ya old mate.
All over so quickly they were trying to persuade Duke to get back into the car to head home. He was quite content to stay where he was and could not really be bothered with all of the fuss. What a great old dog he is.
They are not the first of our guests to decide that one night is just not enough time to enjoy the comfort and relaxation of this property. It was good to meet you all and we hope to see the three of you again in the future.

Laraine and Mario Cabovie
Laraine and Mario got away from the wet coast to come to the still wet tablelands. What a shame the sun did not come out but they still managed to have a good time.
Opting to do their own food requirements was easy while staying in the self contained cottage on the river.
Enjoying afternoon-evening drinks in the bar and games room with some friendly chit chat with their hosts was a great way to wind down the day before heading off to enjoy a romantic bbq by the river and finishing the day lazing by the wood heated fireplace in their cottage. What a cosy way to finish the day.
