From our two self-contained cottages on the banks of the Millstream River to a fully fenced, self-contained apartment close to the main building, you will find one that you can enjoy. All of our accommodations are self-contained with all that you will need for a wonderful, relaxing, and pet-friendly weekend away.
Only one of our accommodations are not pet-friendly (sorry). Our Kingfisher Studio.

Whether this is your first visit to Chilverton Cottages & Day Spa, or you have been a guest many times, we want your experience to be memorable, and of course, relaxing. From the moment you enter the grounds of this boutique property (which is very pet-friendly), you will be in your special world.
Our sister company Mountain View Massage Treatments has its treatment rooms on-site for that extra bit of luxury. Make sure you choose the room that suits your needs best in our accommodation close to Atherton Tablelands.
We are located just 90 minutes from the coast, our beautiful property is located at the southern end of the Atherton Tablelands near the town of Ravenshoe.
We are within proximity to all of the natural wonders of the Atherton Tablelands, as well as the local food and wine trails that will enhance your stay with us.

Since we began our journey in 2007 we have been pet friendly. There is no doubt that we love fur kids and they are drawn to this property as well. There are many reasons that your fur kid will have a great time but the best one of all is that we have a dedicated puppy park. Yap, a fully fenced area where they can be off lead, the only place they can be actually.
There are so many smells from so many different animals that have been to the play park that they will spend all of their time sniffing and exploring the area at their leisure. Another reason is the walking trails that we have, now that is a whole other adventure. Sniffing at where the possums, tree kangaroos, paddy mellons, and many of the other little creatures get about day and night on this property.
We are land for wildlife and so we insist that unless in the puppy park or your accommodation, your pet must be on a leash. Oh yeah, that brings me to another reason, we allow all of our fur friends in the accommodation however not on the furniture for any reason. If you love to sleep with your pet please arrange to bring your own bedding and make us aware of this.

Our pet-friendly accommodation near Atherton is also close to the towns of Ravenshoe, Milla Milla, and Herberton. We are just a short 10 min drive to the waterfall circuit and a hop, skip, and jump to lots of other interesting things that you will enjoy exploring including local markets and boutique shops.
Visit great sights just a short drive from your accommodation so you do not spend the entire day driving.
These include Millstream Falls and National Park, Little Millstream Falls, Archer Creek Markets, Tomoulin Markets, Milla Milla Falls and the Circuit Loop, Windmill Farms, Mungalli Creek Falls and Dairy, The Crater and Crater Lakes just to mention a few.

As you awaken you will hear the happy trilling of the abundant bird life that shares our property.
Enjoy your first cuppa on the balcony of your riverside cottage or if you are staying in one of our other beautiful accommodations take the relaxing morning stroll to the river to watch it meander by.
Keep a keen eye out for the platypus he will be frisky first thing in the morning., about 8 am is a good time.
You may be lucky enough to spot the resident Tree Kangaroo but he’s usually out and
about during the night.
Make sure you are home from your day tripping in time to sit and listen to the symphony of birds that gather here for sundown.
